hack your psp to run on custom firmware
These are three types of PSP:
1- 1000 Series (Also known as Phat/Fat)
2- 2000 Series (Also known as Slim or Lite & Slim)
3- 3000 Series (Also known as Brite)
There is an application used to know what kind of motherboard/model your PSP have. Follow this simple guide:
1. Download the application called PSPident Here.
2. Connect your PSP to your computer.
3. Extract PSPident. Open the folder and put the SECOND folder to your PSP in this path:
:/PSP/GAME
4. Disconnect your psp. Go to Games and run PSPident. You should see a screen shown below:Circled is the motherboard type and model. You can also check what PSP version is your device, Possible CFW it can run to and more. The application also supports PSPgo and PSP 3000 TA-093 (4G)
